Purple Orca is a growth consultancy, marketing, and design company born from the passion for effective communication, swift conversions, and lasting results.

Purple Orca is based in West Yorkshire, the UK ran by Christina D'oro Hooley, an awarded professional, with a proven track record in the success of turning things around for sales departments.

I enable sales by finding the least resistance path, with minimum friction - the human way.

Christina D'oro Hooley

Since its beginnings, marketing has deployed the certain language of offers, with patterns, which are adopted and used at face value. Truth is, competition is now fierce in each and every sector. You cannot afford to sound and look like any other business. Especially with the explosion of digital marketing, the language got more and more artificial, to suit machines' needs: for SEO, PPC, paid social etc.

Purple Orca brand stands for different. Hugely different.

And that is our promise:

Marketing done right.

Christina works in ways which aim to make the process easier and simpler for you, all the heavy lifting happening behind closed doors at headquarters. Christina will obtain all necessary information from deep sector research and combine it with the science of semiotics, language, and graphic communication. All debriefing is happening through conversations with you and the team, no more endless forms or endless meetings. Christina values both your time and hers.

The philosophy behind all strategies which she deploys is the following: humans will always follow or create the path of least resistance. No amount of constraints will ever stop the creation of "garden paths", the shortest way between A and B.

Finding the shortest customer journeys, shortening the decision time by building trust from the get-go is the main objective. And the shortest way is to look at the human path, not the path imposed by the technology which we use and deploy. And the human way is the shortest way, the easiest way, beautifully simple:

Simpler solutions = budget efficiency

Simpler solutions = operations efficiencies

Simpler solutions = easier sales.

Friendly, helpful advice to find the right solutions for you.

Passionate about all things, Christina is a creative with a renaissance mind and a BA(Hons) in Graphic Communication. If asked she will always say she is only a craftsperson. Yet, beyond the word, one should glimpse the imagery of guilds and the fascinating baggage of knowledge required from a member.

She is not medieval in approach though. She has been an advocate of social media channels since mIRC and she masters all major creative software packages and digital marketing platforms, as well as the keen commercial flair necessary to combine all these elements into effective marketing campaigns.

Herself, as a self-made career woman, is living proof of efficiency of personal branding via social media: She has been awarded Internetics Grand Prize in 2003, for project managing a multimedia project, and acknowledged by United Nations for project managing and art direction of training materials for the Programme against Human Trafficking – and all this has been achieved through digital interaction. Christina has studied Textile Engineering, History and English and Graphic Communication, university level, which gives her the professional knowledge to tackle any project online, or above the line, complete marketing mix for both B2B and B2C in various sectors.

She is hopelessly in love with the countryside, wellies and dog walks.
